OFFICE FOR EVERYDAY LIFE AND URBAN TECHNOLOGY focuses on research and design for the city and applies architectural thinking to domains beyond to implement urban-scale systemic innovation.
Our work explores urban challenges imposed by AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain and future materials.
The office was founded by Moritz Maria Karl in London and located to Berlin in 2018.
Moritz is a Research Associate at Technische Universität Berlin and regular guest crit at various universities. His teaching and research explores the relationship between networked technologies and the city. He received an MArch Urban Design (Distinction) from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, London and a Dipl. Ing. of Architecture (Distinction) from KIT, Karlsruhe, Germany. Moritz’ work has been exhibited and awarded internationally. Moritz is a regular speaker at international conferences.
